Our offers for start-ups
We never actually wanted to formulate these offers. There are already a large number of incubators, accelerators, mentors, coaches, fundraising consultants and other service providers in Germany, all of which certainly have their raison d’être and have focused their business on supporting start-ups. Our mission, on the other hand, is operational technology transfer. For our business, we use a range of powerful transfer tools from our corporate toolbox that we have developed over the years. As we have repeatedly received inquiries from start-ups in the past, we have decided to make our “business toolkit from practice” generally available in the form of structured offers.

Back office and company building
We use separate collecting societies for a number of our transfer projects, which we manage via our central and powerful back office. Simply use this to manage your own start-up operationally and concentrate on developing your business yourself.
In this way, you can outsource routine activities, cushion peak loads with LZE experts and utilize specialist expertise that you will only build up yourself later.
Technology licensing from research institutes: Often David against Goliath
From our own experience, licensing technology from a research organization is a complex undertaking. Especially if you are (or want to become) a technology-oriented start-up that spins off from a research institute, there are a number of conditions to consider. You have to reconcile funding law, non-profit and state aid law as well as the interests of the institute with those of your start-up’s own viability. Not an easy task.
As we are often on the “licensee side” ourselves, we have a wealth of experience in the do’s and don’ts of technology licensing, which we are happy to share with you.
Red Teaming: Live challenges for entrepreneurs and those who want to become one
As a course or as an individual program, we conduct live challenges for start-ups to prepare them for the typical pitfalls of entrepreneurship. We accompany the teams for a limited period of time and create suitable scenarios during this time, which often mean the end of the start-up. The highlight: the scenarios are artificial (using extras and various service providers), so there is never any risk of the start-up actually failing. However, this fact is not apparent to the participants at the time of the challenge. The challenge feels like reality and is correspondingly exciting.
Some therefore refer to our program as “Entrepreneurial Survival Training with a safety belt”.
